About the Role:
We are looking for a versatile, driven to succeed, positive tradesperson to join our team in the role of Service Plumber - 306A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls.
- Read plumbing drawings and specifications.
- Diagnose plumbing system issues and determine the root cause of failures.
- Install replacement plumbing equipment and fixtures.
- Modify existing piping systems.
- Clear blocked drains and sewer lines using appropriate equipment.
- Perform leak detection and repair.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Test plumbing systems for proper operation and code compliance.
- Install new domestic water and drainage piping.
- Install pumps, water heaters, valves, and associated equipment.
- Perform commissioning and operational testing.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Provide friendly, respectful service to customers on site.
- Comply with all safety procedures and plumbing codes.
- Perform any trade-related tasks, as required.
Qualifications:
- This is a must: Plumbing Trade in Ontario – 306A Journeyperson Category.
- Possess valid Class G driver’s licence and clean driving abstract.
- Ability to obtain site-specific security clearances if required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding role
- Must be able to work full time - Monday to Friday
- Work in crawl spaces, ceilings, trenches, and mechanical rooms.
- Climb ladders and work at heights.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the service area.
- Must provide own CSA steel-toe boots and personal hand tools.
