Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall hygiene department. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Manage patient comfort and address any concerns during treatment
- Support the dental team with sterilization, infection control, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations, especially in pediatric and orthodontic cases
Skills
- Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Previous dental office experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Pay: $43.00-$51.00 per hour
