Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hardscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and materials, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Construct hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls using a variety of materials such as stone, brick, and concrete.
- Lay and level pavers and install as part of hardscape projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform masonry work including bricklaying and stone setting.
- Form concrete structures by preparing molds and ensuring proper placement.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Estimate material requirements and project timelines for construction tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure safety on the job site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hardscaping or related construction fields.
- Proficiency in tile laying, masonry, concrete forming, and flooring installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
