The Olde Dublin Pub & Claddagh Oyster House are looking for our brand new street marketing team members, the Pub Scouts!
Are you charismatic, enthusiastic, and naturally great with people? Do you love storytelling, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences? This could be the perfect summer role for you.
We’re building a street marketing team made up of outgoing individuals who are eager to learn our story, know our business inside and out, and confidently promote us to both visitors and locals. As a member of this team, you’ll play a key role in driving foot traffic to our Sydney Street location and creating a strong, lasting first impression of our brand.
What You’ll Do: Your core duties would be as follows:
- Share specials and programming at the Olde Dublin Pub & Claddagh Oyster House
- Engaging with tourists in high traffic areas in Downtown Charlottetown during the peak tourist season.
- Direct guests physically to our business, either by giving direction or simply joining them for a walk!
- Collecting simple metrics by handing out promotional materials

- Outgoing and approachable: You’re someone people feel comfortable talking to right away. You bring positive energy to every interaction and create a welcoming first impression wherever you go.
- Respectful: You treat everyone with respect and read situations well. You’re mindful of personal space, take cues if someone isn’t interested, and represent the brand with professionalism in all environments.
- Knowledgeable: You either know, or are excited to learn, everything about our business from menus and features to hours and atmosphere. You can speak confidently and authentically about what we offer.
- Independent: This role involves working without direct supervision for much of the day. You’re self-motivated, organized, and confident in your ability to manage your time, solve problems, and take initiative.
