Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Accounts Partner – Retail & CPG with a strong background in solution and consultative selling within technology and professional services.
This is not a traditional sales role. You will operate as a Practice Builder, owning the Retail & Consumer vertical—driving revenue growth, shaping offerings, and building long-term client relationships. You will play a key role in expanding Incepta’s footprint in retail transformation, including AI, Data, Salesforce, and Digital Commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive new business development within the Retail & Consumer industry
- Identify, qualify, and close mid- to large-enterprise deals using a consultative, solution-based approach
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through strategic outreach, partnerships, and industry networks
- Lead RFP responses, proposal development, and executive presentations
- Collaborate with delivery, architecture, and leadership teams to craft tailored digital transformation solutions
- Develop industry-specific offerings across the Retail digital transformation, Omnichannel & E-Commerce, Data & analytics and AI-driven customer insights
- Contribute to building a Retail Practice roadmap, including go-to-market strategy and service offerings
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders
- Expand existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth
- Work closely with delivery and consulting teams to ensure the successful execution of engagements
- Provide input into pricing models, solution structuring, and commercial strategy
- Mentor junior sales and consulting team members
- Track pipeline, revenue, and client engagement metrics using CRM tools
- Implement strong governance across deals, including risk, change management, and commercial alignment
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in technology consulting, IT services, or professional services sales.
- Proven success in solution selling—ideally in Retail, CPG, or eCommerce.
- Strong experience selling Managed services, Digital transformation programs and Multi-year consulting engagements
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale a revenue portfolio ($2M–$5M+)
- Deep understanding of retail industry challenges and trends
- Experience with Salesforce, Data, AI, or Cloud solutions is highly preferred
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-suite stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with RFPs, deal structuring, and complex negotiations
- Proficiency in CRM tools and pipeline management

Compensation
- Base Salary: $110,000 – $250,000 CAD
Work Arrangement
- Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
- In-Office: 2–3 days per week to collaborate with leadership and delivery teams
