SMT Technician

CCI Canadian Circuits Inc. has expanded into the electronics assembly business and is looking to hire a full-time, SMT Technician to run our SMT automation machines in our manufacturing plant. The SMT Technician role is accountable for machine operations, programming and setup, process compliance, production on-time deliverables, and quality conformance.
What You will Do
· Operate a complete SMT automation line of equipment, including stencil printer, pick-and-place machine, and reflow oven
· Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process, identifying and addressing defects to maintain a high level of quality control
· Set up and program machines according to production specifications and job instruction
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, practice 5S principles
· Perform basic machine troubleshooting and communicate any issues to maintenance personnel
· Hand placing parts that the machine is not capable of auto-placing
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation
· Continuously improve processes by identifying and implementing lean manufacturing principles
· Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
What You Will Need
· Minimum diploma in electronics, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Experience Panasonic NPM or AM100 in SMT operations. Familiar with DGS Programs
· Strong commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in clear English
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments
· A strong work ethic, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement (lean manufacturing principles)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
