In this role you will be working with Thermo-Kinetics customers to help them find technical solutions. This requires assessing and understanding the customers’ needs and making recommendations on which products or applications they need.
You will advise on solutions, lead times, and build orders. You will be building standard and custom solutions, and in doing so; will build the quote, support the product, and communicate with customers throughout. You will work with customers on our Thermo-Kinetics manufactured solutions and our full suite of process and control products from our Principal's lines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls from prospects and customers for our products and services
- Work with the customer to find unique solutions to their processes’ needs
- Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development opportunities
- Be able to work hands on with our control and instrumentation products
- Coordinate and communicate with our principals throughout the sale
- Capturing of accurate and complete information in CRM system
- Occasional visits to customer site (partnered with an outside sales person) to build relationships and/or document requirements
Skills and Responsibilities:
- A minimum requirement is a background in Instrumentation/Electrical technologist at a College or University level
- Electrical or Mechanical engineeringwould also be a suitable educational background
- Hands on experience with some or all of the following :PLCs, Controllers, Field Instrumentation, Pyrometers, Thermal Imaging equipment
- Familiar and comfortable speaking about the technical characteristics of Oil & Gas, Steel, and Heavy Industry facilities and processes
- Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent telephone skills and ability to understand and deal with different personalities
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Prior experience in sales or inside sales is an asset
