Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document and Quality Control Assistant to join our All Can Quality team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring documentation, records, and training information are accurate, current, and compliant. This is a newly created position designed to support the continued growth of the Quality department. Initially focused on document control, quality administration, and training records, the role will also provide support to other office administrative functions as required. As the successful candidate develops knowledge and experience, the position will expand to include increased responsibility within the Quality department, offering opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys organizing information, improving processes, and working in a structured environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager, Customer Relationships & Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives, maintain document control systems, coordinate training records, and assist with internal and external audit activities.
This role provides a clear career development pathway toward a Quality Coordinator position.
Key Responsibilities
Document Control
- Support and administer the company's document control system.
- Issue, revise, distribute and archive controlled documents in online document control program
- Maintain revision histories.
- Ensure current procedures, work instructions and forms are available.
Data Management
- Perform accurate data entry into quality systems.
- Maintain quality records and documentation.
- Prepare reports supporting quality initiatives.
- Verify data accuracy and help to resolve discrepancies.
Training Administration
- Maintain training records and training matrices.
- Track mandatory and recurring training.
- Coordinate training documentation and onboarding records.
Quality System Support
- Support the Quality Management System (QMS) for BRC..
- Prepare documentation for internal audits.
- Support corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist with customer and certification audits.
- Monitor compliance with company procedures.
Administrative Support
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (CAPA).
- Provide general administrative support to the Quality department
- Provide general administrative support to other departments as required
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Quality Control or administrative experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Experience with document control processes.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, food production or another regulated industry.
- Experience supporting audits or compliance activities.
- Familiarity with, document management or quality software.

This role is intended as a developmental opportunity within the Quality department. As experience and knowledge grow, the successful candidate will have opportunities to assume increasing responsibility in quality systems administration, internal auditing, CAPA, document development, training coordination, continuous improvement and customer audit support. Successful performance may lead to advancement into a Quality Coordinator position.
