ASCCI is hiring a full-time, permanent individual to join our technical Installation team. As a Security Technician you will be part of the integration of CCTV, Access Control and other Communication solutions in Health Care, Schools and other business settings.

What you will be doing:
· Assist with the installation of copper /fiber, security and intrusion cabling.
· Terminations and testing of security products.
· Adhere to and understand ASCCI health and safety standards for all phases of construction.
· This position will be travelling to job sites in and around the Calgary area and Southern Alberta.
· Flexible to work after hours as required.
What we are looking for:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Ability to work on ladders, or aerial platforms in an indoor and outdoor work environment.
· Physically able to perform duties in a construction environment and/or client sensitive environment which include but not limited to walking, climbing, lift or carry more than 25 lbs, reach above/at/below shoulder level, bending crouching, kneeling, crawling and sitting or standing for extended periods of time while following health and safety procedures on site locations.
· Strong computer skills.
· Strong work ethic, dependable and willing to learn and be trained.
· Strong organizational skills and detail orientated.
· Clean driving record for valid Class 5 license.
· Ability to get to projects in the Calgary area with dependable transportation.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Interacting with other employees, supervisors and clients in a professional manner.
· CSTS2020, First Aid, Fall Protection, and Elevated Work Platform certifications are a benefit.
· Knowledge and experience with DSC, CDVI, RBH, AMAG, Gallagher, Hanwah, AXIS CCTV an asset.

Salary: $40-45.00 per hour to start based on experience. Do not apply if you do not meet requirements noted above.
