Position: Full Time Mobile Guard
Site: Seneca Polytechnic - Newnham Campus
City: Toronto
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Hours: Rotating Continental (0700 - 1900 / 1900 -0700)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.50 / an hour

Key Responsibilities
-
Mobile patrols across all campuses, parking lots, and off-site facilities
-
Conducting safety audits, unlock/lockup, and support for site-specific needs
-
Assist in coordinating emergency provider escorts to campus location
-
Campus to campus deliveries
-
Patrol satellite campus buildings using patrol verification technology

Strong independent work and organization skills

Incident and maintenance reporting

Driving and vehicle care responsibilities

Assist the public in general vehicle maintenance (change tire, boost batteries, etc.)
Qualifications
-
Ontario Security Guard License
-
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved provider
-
Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
-
Previous mobile/security driving experience an asset
-
Flexibility and knowledge of GTA roadways
-
G-class license with clean abstract
-
Professional, adaptable attitude
-
Must not be a current Seneca student at Newnham Campus

Legally authorized to work in Canada
-
Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training

Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
