We are seeking a skilled and reliable Metal Cap Flashing Installer to join our team immediately. Duties
- Install metal cap flashing on roofs, walls, and other building surfaces according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and drills to secure flashing materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
- Apply caulking and sealants to prevent water infiltration around flashing components
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed, including carpentry and general handyman duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, roofing, or carpentry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, blueprint reading, and caulking techniques is essential
- Handyman experience or background in general construction will be considered a strong asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on elevated surfaces or rooftops
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites is required
- Previous experience working with metal flashing or roofing materials is a plus
