Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ/DZ Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a heavy-duty dump truck to transport materials efficiently and safely across various job sites in the Region of Waterloo. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on operational excellence and safety compliance.
Duties
- Operate a dump truck to transport construction materials, including asphalt, or other bulk loads to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site managers regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Dump Truck driving experience in Canada.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission dump truck.
- Must reside in the Region of Waterloo (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge).
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to work full-time.
