Summary
We are looking for an organized and motivated Inside Sales and Project Support Coordinator to join our team. Our company works in the mining, industrial, and heavy equipment sectors, with a focus on custom fabrication, engineered products, ROPS/FOPS certified cabs, safety structures, and related services.
This role will mainly focus on inside sales, customer follow up, quote tracking, and sales support. The successful candidate will also assist with internal project coordination, including support for company projects connected to approved government funding programs. This may include organizing project records, tracking project progress, helping collect required documentation, and coordinating information between sales, engineering, purchasing, and management.
Main Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional manner.
Follow up with customers on open quotes, new requests, and active opportunities.
Assist with preparing quotes, sales documents, customer records, and internal project files.
Maintain quote status, customer information, and sales activity in the company system.
Help identify new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
Coordinate with engineering, estimating, purchasing, and shop staff to gather information for customer requests.
Support internal project tracking for approved company improvement and growth projects.
Assist with organizing documentation required for project updates, reporting, purchasing records, and internal review.
Keep communication clear between customers, management, and internal departments.
Support general office and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in inside sales, administration, customer service, project coordination, or a similar role.
Strong communication skills by phone and email.
Good attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
Comfortable working with computers, email, spreadsheets, and CRM or office systems.
Ability to follow up with customers and keep track of multiple open items.
Experience in industrial, mining, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy equipment industries is an asset.
Experience with project tracking, documentation, or government funded project support is an asset, but not required.
Willingness to learn technical products and understand customer requirements.
