Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming packages and shipments
- Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure they are properly labeled
- Unload and load trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders
- Prepare packages for shipment, including packing, labeling, and arranging transportation
Requirements:
- Stand-up Forklift operation experience required.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and record keeping
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and order fulfillment processes is a plus
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus
