We're looking for a passionate, hands-on Heavy Duty Equipment Technician / Fleet Mechanic who takes pride in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready for work. Whether you're Red Seal certified, a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice, or an experienced mechanic with years of proven hands-on knowledge, we're interested in the right person with the right attitude and work ethic.
What You'll Work On
Our diverse fleet includes 150+ vehicles and pieces of equipment, including:
- Mobile Cranes
- Boom Trucks
- Service Trucks & Pickup Trucks
- Telehandlers
- Forklifts
- Genie Boom Lifts & Scissor Lifts
- Excavators
- Skid Steers (Bobcats)
- Trailers
- Air Compressors & Generators
- Specialty Roofing Equipment
- Various Mobile Construction Equipment
What You'll Do
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on our fleet and construction equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot diesel, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Complete scheduled servicing, safety inspections, and repairs.
- Respond to occasional field breakdowns and emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance history.
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate outside repairs when required.
- Ensure equipment meets WorkSafeBC, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements.
- Take ownership of the fleet and contribute to continuous improvement of our maintenance program.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of hands-on experience repairing heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, or construction equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience with diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience working on construction equipment is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Red Seal certification is an asset, but not required. We value experience, knowledge, and a passion for the trade.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
