Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and EXPERIENCED DENTAL Front Desk Administrator to join our friendly team at 124 Main Street, Toronto and 116 Sheppard Avenue West, North York.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to both staff and clients. This position requires a strong background and experience in dental receptionist and administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with dental office environments. Knowledge Paradigm and Tagalog speaking an asset.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Paradigm or Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries, appointment requests, and general questions
- Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments accordingly
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Paradigm or other electronic health record systems
- Collect patient information, update records, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk
- Handle patient check-in/check-out processes efficiently and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office environment
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures is preferred
- Proficiency with Paradigm, Dentrix, Epic, or other electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff effectively
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
- Familiarity with office equipment and administrative procedures in a healthcare setting
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Prior experience in DENTAL office administration is highly desirable

The successful candidate will be a key member of our team committed to delivering outstanding dental care in both of our locations in the Upper Beaches in Toronto and North York office.
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
