Agence de Sécurité A2A Inc. is currently hiring professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards for event security assignments in Montreal and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in busy public environments, maintaining a professional presence, assisting guests, and helping ensure that events run safely and smoothly.
As an Event Security Guard, you may be assigned to private events, corporate functions, festivals, venues, receptions, public gatherings, community events, or other special assignments requiring a visible and dependable security presence.
Maintain a professional, visible, and reassuring security presence at assigned event locations.
Perform access control by verifying tickets, guest lists, wristbands, staff credentials, vendor access, VIP access, or other authorizations as required.
Monitor entrances, exits, backstage areas, restricted zones, parking areas, lobbies, lineups, and other assigned posts.
Assist with crowd management, line control, guest flow, and general safety support.
Observe and report suspicious activity, disturbances, unsafe conditions, unauthorized access attempts, intoxication-related concerns, or policy violations.
Support event organizers, venue staff, client representatives, supervisors, and emergency personnel when required.
Help enforce event rules, site procedures, capacity limits, and client instructions in a respectful and professional manner.
Assist with de-escalation of tense or disruptive situations using calm and professional communication.
Respond to incidents, medical situations, alarms, lost persons, evacuations, access issues, or other event-related concerns according to site procedures.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members by radio, phone, or other assigned communication tools.
Complete incident reports or activity reports when required.
Valid BSP security guard permit is required.
Previous security experience is preferred.
Experience in event security, hospitality, venues, nightlife, festivals, retail, crowd control, or customer service is considered a strong asset.
Strong communication skills and a professional, service-oriented attitude.
Ability to remain calm, alert, and respectful in busy or high-pressure environments.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
Professional appearance and strong sense of discretion.
Comfortable standing, walking, and remaining active for extended periods.
Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to follow post orders, event procedures, client instructions, and supervisor direction.
Bilingual French and English communication skills are strongly preferred.
