Security Guard, Firewatch Position, Oromocto, NB
Commissionaires NB&PEI Division is looking to hire mature and responsible team members at CFB Gagetown Oromocto, NB.
Hours: 4pm-12pm, 12pm-8pm, Available 7 days per week
Rate of Pay: $20.09 per hour

The Role: The Security Guard is responsible for enforcing established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information on the worksite.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Physical fitness to perform interior and exterior rounds on foot, (including stairs) of the property, may also require standing or sitting for extended periods of time and the ability to respond to emergency situations
- A positive, proactive, problem-solving approach to tasks
- Customer service experience with a clean, neat, uniform appearance
- Completion of High school or equivalent
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality with a positive attitude
- Demonstrate sound judgement
- Respond and help in emergency situations
- Able to acquire and maintain Federal Security Clearance
- Complete all online and in-person training requirements
Bilingualism (French/English) and Designated Veteran Status are assets but are not requirements for the position.
