Overview
We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Baker to join our team for the opening shift. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking Tim Hortons products according to brand standards, ensuring guests receive fresh, high-quality products throughout the day. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during early morning hours.
Shift Requirements
- Opening shift starts at 3:30 AM
- Must be available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and finish bakery products according to Tim Hortons operating standards
- Follow product preparation guides, recipes, and food safety procedures
- Ensure showcase products are fully stocked and presented according to brand standards
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and inventory levels
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Receive and store deliveries following proper procedures
- Support restaurant operations and work collaboratively with team members
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations
Qualifications
- Previous bakery, food service, or restaurant experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attendance
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Transportation Requirement
Due to the 3:30 AM start time, public transportation may not be available. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle to ensure consistent and punctual attendance.
