Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is tidy and inviting
- Manage inventory levels through merchandising and stock replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, maintaining good phone etiquette
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures as needed
- Support team members in achieving sales goals through effective communication and collaboration
Skills
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages relevant to the customer base
- Experience in retail sales, with knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering procedures
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is advantageous
- Ability to perform product demos confidently to educate customers about features and benefits
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash registers
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy hours
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
