Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular sanitation, cleaning, and bussing duties
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support the dietary department by assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ needs with kindness and professionalism
Experience
- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred
- Experience in food handling, food preparation, or culinary roles is highly valued
- Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietetics is a plus
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle meal service schedules
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Prior dietary aide or food service experience demonstrates reliability and dedication to resident care
