We are currently hiring for two Paint Associate positions:
- 1 Full Time Position – 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
- 1 Part Time Position – 4 days per weekDepartment: Paint
Location: RONA Powell RiverAbout the RoleRONA Powell River is looking for energetic and customer-focused Paint Associates to join our team. These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy helping customers, working in a fast-paced retail environment, and have an interest in paint, decorating, and home improvement products.Responsibilities
- Assist customers with paint selection, colour matching, and product recommendations
- Mix and tint paint accurately using in-store equipment
- Maintain department merchandising and stock levels
- Ensure shelves and displays are clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Load products and assist customers with carry-outs when required
- Support seasonal merchandising and promotional displays
- Provide exceptional customer service while following all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with store management and team members
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience considered an asset
- Knowledge of paint and decorating products is an asset, but training will be provided
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
- Reliable, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working independently and in a busy environment

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
