Job Overview
We are a growing Canadian distributor of the leading pipe fitting manufacturer. Our goal is to expand our presence in the Canadian industrial, plumbing, HVAC, and Fire protection.
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help develop new business opportunities and establish long-term customer relationships across Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify potential customers.
- Develop new business opportunities in the plumbing, HVAC, fire protcion, and construction markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and end users.
- Perform customer visits and sales follow-ups.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare regular sales and market development reports.
- Support the company's growth and market expansion in Canada.
Qualifications Preferred
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Pipe, Valve & Fittings (PVF)
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Mechanical Products
- Industrial Supplies
Additional Requirements
- Existing relationships with contractors, distributors, wholesalers, or industrial customers are highly desirable.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
