As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Director of Digital Marketing & Lead Generation to build and execute a scalable client acquisition platform that drives measurable business growth.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the firm’s digital marketing, lead generation, content marketing, event marketing, and client acquisition strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities for our advisors through a combination of digital advertising, LinkedIn prospecting, search engine optimization, content creation, CRM automation, educational events, and referral marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for a highly entrepreneurial individual who enjoys building systems, measuring results, and contributing directly to firm growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Develop and execute lead generation campaigns targeting:
- High-net-worth individuals
- Business owners
- Incorporated professionals
- Physicians
- Dentists
- Accountants
- Lawyers
- Executives
- Retirees
- Build and manage prospecting initiatives using LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Develop lead generation funnels and conversion strategies.
- Generate qualified appointments and opportunities for advisors.
- Track lead quality, conversion rates, and acquisition costs.
Digital Advertising
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns.
- Develop and execute LinkedIn advertising campaigns.
- Manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns where appropriate.
- Implement retargeting campaigns and audience segmentation strategies.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize return on investment.
SEO & Website Optimization
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy.
- Improve search engine rankings for targeted keywords.
- Increase website traffic and lead conversions.
- Create and optimize landing pages for campaigns and events.
- Monitor website analytics and conversion performance.
Content Marketing & Thought Leadership
- Coordinate creation of articles, blogs, videos, newsletters, white papers, and educational content.
- Repurpose content across multiple platforms.
- Support advisors in building their professional brand and thought leadership presence.
- Manage social media strategy and execution.
Events & Seminar Marketing
- Promote educational seminars, webinars, private client events, and invitation-only dinner presentations.
- Manage registration funnels and attendee follow-up.
- Build campaigns designed to increase attendance and prospect engagement.
- Measure event performance and return on investment.
CRM & Marketing Automation
- Manage CRM and marketing automation systems.
- Build lead nurturing campaigns and automated workflows.
- Segment prospect databases and improve engagement.
- Develop reporting dashboards and performance metrics.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key marketing and business development metrics.
- Monitor campaign performance and return on marketing investment.
- Present monthly and quarterly reports to management.
- Continuously improve marketing effectiveness through testing and optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Minimum 5 years of digital marketing and lead generation experience.
- Proven track record of generating qualified leads and measurable business growth.
- Hands-on experience with:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- LinkedIn Advertising
- Google Ads
- SEO
- Email Marketing
- Marketing Automation
- CRM Systems
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept through execution.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience marketing wealth management, investment management, financial advisory, insurance, private banking, accounting, legal, tax, or other professional service firms.
- Experience targeting affluent and high-net-worth clientele.
- Familiarity with regulated industries and compliance requirements.
- Experience promoting educational seminars, webinars, and exclusive invitation-only events.
- Google Ads Certification.
- HubSpot or Salesforce experience.
FIRST YEAR OBJECTIVES
Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate will:
- Build a scalable digital lead generation system.
- Establish LinkedIn prospecting and outreach campaigns.
- Improve website traffic and conversion rates.
- Increase attendance at educational seminars and client events.
- Launch automated lead nurturing campaigns.
- Improve search engine rankings for key target markets.
- Create measurable reporting on marketing ROI.
- Generate a consistent flow of qualified prospects for advisors.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Qualified leads generated.
- Cost per lead.
- Cost per qualified appointment.
- Website traffic growth.
- SEO ranking improvements.
- Event registrations and attendance.
- Conversion rates.
- New client acquisition opportunities created.
- Overall marketing return on investment.
COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and may include bonus opportunities tied directly to lead generation, business development outcomes, and growth objectives.
