Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Server/Bartender to join our team. This role is primarily for a serving position, with occasional bartender shifts. The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences for our guests. Availability on the weekends is required.
As a Server or Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages and food while maintaining a clean and organized service area.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Hospitality or restaurant background is a plus
- Certification in responsible alcohol service is advantageous
