Master Flo Valve Inc. is currently seeking a full-time permanent Receiver/Driver to work in Edmonton, AB.
This position receives all incoming material and parts with the required paper work, documentation processing, computer data entry, and pick-up and delivery driver responsibilities when required.
Duties Include:
- Receive all parts, material, services and other goods
- Shipping of parts, materials and other goods
- Maintain cleanliness/tidiness of Receiving and outside assigned areas
- Visually inspect parts or product received for damage
- Ensure component parts (shipped and received) are packaged according to Master Flo standards
- Follow receiving process as described by Work Instruction
- Report all variances in receiving of product or parts to lead receiver immediately
- Inspect product documentation (MSDS) of valves sent to MFV for service & quarantine if necessary
- Inspect valves sent to MFV for NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials) per internal safety procedure and quarantine if necessary
- Deliver and pick up parts to / from MFV suppliers.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles (interior and exterior).
- Ensure that preventive maintenance plan for the vehicles is followed.
- Ensure that parts being transported are packaged according to Master Flo standards.
- Verify that quantity and part numbers of parts being transported are in compliance with the shipping documentation.
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse receiving experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- The ability to pass a driver’s medical examination
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Effective English written, verbal, and reading skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software systems is preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
