Premium Built Structures is an established and industry leading post frame building company specializing in agricultural, commercial, and residential structures.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Development Manager to join our team.
The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales process of new products and services offered by Premium Built Structures.
This positon is NOT RESPONSIBLE for the sale of Building Projects.
The initial focus for this position would be the launch and sale of a NEW and proprietary product designed by our compnay for the Post Frame Industry. The product is a core component of all Post Frame Strucutres and is ready to be released to the general market. The secondary focus would be the offering of Premiums supply and support services to other builders in the post frame industry.
The Sales Development Manager will work with the General Manager and Marketing Coordinator to create and integrate a product launch and sales strategy of the above-mentioned offerings. They will be responsible for overseeing the growth of new business relationships, expanding sales leads, providing customer solutions, and managing new partnerships through the sales process. This will include coordinating customer interactions for product demonstrations, procuring sales orders and creating contracts while also ensuring smooth communication between customers and others involved in the process.

This is a location based position working out of our Company Offices in Lacombe, Alberta. This position does not offer the ability to work remotely.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Strategy Optimization
Refine target buyer personas. Gather information that directly impacts purchasing behavior such as specific job challenges and buying motivations. Document common questions, objections, hesitations and usage patterns. Formulate a strong product launch and sales campaign using this information. Work closely with our Marketing Coordinator to optimize this campaign and produce strong flow of sales leads.
Trade show involvement and Brand Recognition
Identify key opportunities for product placement and brand awareness using tradeshows pertinent to the post frame industry. Organize submissions and attend tradeshows with other from Premium to promote the key offerings discussed.
Pipeline Management
Designate a KPI program and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs utilizing our CRM program.
Update and monitor the Customer Relationship Management program
· Make sure customer information is being inputted correctly.
· Move customers to proper boards within the CRM in accordance with status.
· Help with making sure notes are up to date and logged.
· Stay in contact with the Marketing Coordinator regarding the AI BOT and functionality.
Take potential customers through the sales process
· Help them understand what we offer.
Create Contracts & Project Agreements
· Make sure all information is correctly portrayed.
Other tasks to include
· Weekly/Monthly Reporting.
· Support in sales forecasting.
· Assist with site visits if needed.
· Work with digital marketing coordinator in keeping literature relevant and up to date.

Position Requirements - Experience and Skills
· Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
· Experience in administration support, preferably in the construction industry field.
· Experience in project estimating and cost controls.
· The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus in dynamic situations.
· A self-motivated individual who excels at working both independently and in a team environment.
· Highly organized, with an eye for detail and data.
· Excellent proficiency with computers and programs like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Cloud based platforms
Physical, Business and Safety Requirements
- Compliance with company’s safety management program.
- Approx. 5% travel will be required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
