JOB SUMMARY
Working with the production team and the Site Manager, The Quality Technician is responsible to ensure incoming and outgoing product meets Nefab and customer specifications. The incumbent is also responsible for root cause analysis and non-conformance resolutions. They will also perform layered audits throughout the production process.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform incoming inspection on all received (purchased) product
- Perform inspection on outgoing product
- Assist in finding NCR resolutions – working with management, engineering, production and the Quality Manager
- Audit and improve quality processes for production
- Responsible for KPI reporting
- Complete customer quality documentation as required
- To ensure that company policies, procedures and process flows are followed
- Maintains and adheres to ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedure
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
- University Degree or College Diploma in a related field or equivalent in education and/or experience
Experience
- 2 + years’ experience working in an Inspection or Quality related role
- Manufacturing experience (preferred)
LANGUAGES
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Work Environment
- Office working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work will require infrequent local and international travel, overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.
- The Quality Technician’s role has daily stress due to strict deadlines and responsibility in accuracy. The incumbent is faced with constant interruption and frequently meets with others
- Plant working conditions include noise in excess of 90 dlb, Temperature ranging from 5– 34 Celsius, and some dust. Personal Protection Equipment is provided.
