Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety focused Concrete Finisher to join team. This role involves hands-on concrete preparation, placement, and finishing for residential, agricultural, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is an experienced concrete finisher who takes pride in producing high-quality work, follows safe work practices, and works effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
Concrete Placement & Finishing Skills
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate elevations, grades, and layout requirements.
- Operate a skid steer, power trowel, and related equipment safely
- Place, screed, float, trowel, edge, and finish concrete surfaces to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Place, finish, and cure concrete using company and industry-standard practices
Quality & Workmanship
· Ensure finished concrete meets project specifications and quality standards.
· Inspect surfaces for defects and perform necessary corrections.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
· Assist with material handling and site preparation as required.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Work effectively with laborers, equipment operators, apprentices, and other trades on site.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a concrete finisher with Power Trowel experience
- Proficiency in flatwork, stamping, exposed aggregate, and/or vertical concrete finishing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work in varied weather conditions.
- Ability to operate a skid steer proficiently is a preference.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. OSHA certification is an asset.
