Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Food handling certification or knowledge of food safety practices is desirable
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and guest services preferred
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a hospitality setting
