Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive bodywork, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Experience and mechanical knowledge is highly valued, along with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame repair
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during repairs
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Conduct mechanical repairs as needed, utilizing automotive repair skills and mechanical knowledge
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
Experience
- Must have experience with classic cars
- Fabrication experience is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Background in automotive bodywork is necessary
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to automotive repair work
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
