Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Red Seal Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles (domestic and import)
- Using scan tools and service information to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Completing work in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
- Performing inspections (including out-of-province/safety inspections, if applicable)
- Communicating clearly with the service advisor/management about required repairs, timelines, and parts needs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Following all safety procedures and best practices
- Providing a positive, professional experience for customers and coworkers
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Red Seal ticket
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
- Comfortable using digital work orders and scan tools
