Shift Premiums:
- Afternoons: +$0.85/hour
- Nights: +$1.10/hour
Shift: 8 hour Rotating shift - Day, Afternoon, Night (Monday to Friday)
Position Summary
This hands-on role involves operating and monitoring production processing and wastewater treatment equipment, pumping tanks, performing manual chemical additions, troubleshooting equipment, and safely handling hazardous chemicals while ensuring all environmental, quality, and safety standards are met. You’ll also maintain a clean work area, wear appropriate PPE, and operate a forklift when required.
Qualifications
- Previous chemical manufacturing or chemical processing experience is required
- Experience with wastewater treatment, electroplating, or similar industrial processing is a strong asset
- Understanding of chemical safety and industrial manufacturing practices
- Comfortable working in a dirty industrial environment
- Mechanically inclined with good troubleshooting skills
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Able to work a rotating three-shift schedule (Monday to Friday)
Pay: $23.85-$24.95 per hour
