Snapshot of the Position
At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are currently looking for a skilled baker to join our Artisan bread team at our Mount Pearl location. If you are passionate about bread and would like to be a part of our team, we would like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Create, bake, and display a variety of specialty breads.
- Familiarity with the dough mixing process.
- Ability to scale, shape, and score different varieties of breads.
- Operating baking machines and rotating stock.
- Keeping work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to food, health and safety standards at all times.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Any additional duties as required.
What We Are Looking For
- Working knowledge of basic equipment including, but not limited to, mixers, blenders, food processors.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg is a definite asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Rate of Pay
$16.35 - $20.96 per hour
Hours of Work
32-40 hours per week; should be available to work anytime days and weekends as needed.
