We are currently in search of a Full time ECE Montessori Co-Teacher who would be interested in joining our committed team of educators.
Little Semlin Montessori School is a licensed group child care facility offering services for children between the ages of 2.5 years to school age. We are conveniently located on the corner of East 1st Avenue and Semlin Drive.

This position is full time position and is set to commence in September 2026
Key Responsibilities (include and not limited) :
- Deliver the Montessori curriculum in alignment with the school's philosophy and support each child's individual learning journey.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Observe, document, and support children's developmental progress.
- Lead daily classroom routines and ensure smooth transitions throughout the day.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead and educators to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Assume classroom leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Team Lead.
- Support and foster a positive, collaborative, and professional team environment.
- Maintain professional communication with families regarding children's progress and well-being.
- Assist with classroom administration, documentation, attendance, and material management.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.

Qualifications:
- Must Have - Valid ECE License
- Must have - Montessori 3-6 Diploma or Montessori assistant certification.
- Children First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Criminal record check (up to date)
- Experience working in a Montessori classrooms an asset
- Immunization History or Doctor note declaring immunization is up to date.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Experience supporting or mentoring fellow educators.

Salary: Salary ranges from $22 to $26 per hour based on qualifications (This does not include the ECEWE $6 )
Start Date: 1st September 2026 (Monday to Friday)
