We are seeking a professional Class 1 Driver based in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick to join our Dry Van Division team hauling dry van freight within Canada and to/from the US. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who values safety, reliability, and steady work with a supportive employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport dry van freight within assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours, cargo details, and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 license with a minimum of 2 years verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (abstract must be provided).
- Clean criminal record check (required prior to hiring).
- Previous experience with container freight is an asset.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and professionalism.
