Renovation Quality Control Inspector - London, ON
WDK Management Inc. specializes in residential apartment turnover renovations, and we're adding a Quality Control Inspector to our team in London and the surrounding region.
Quality is what sets our work apart, and this role is where quality gets enforced. You'll be our eyes in the field: walking units before renovations begin, checking work while it's underway, and signing off only when the finished unit meets WDK's standards. If you're the kind of person who spots the crooked outlet cover, the missed paint line, or the door that doesn't quite close right — this job was built for you.
No renovation background required. We'll train the right person. What can't be trained is a sharp eye and reliable follow-through.
This position is available as full-time or part-time — a great fit for someone seeking flexible hours, semi-retired tradespeople, or anyone wanting to get a foot in the door of the renovation industry with real room to advance.
What Your Days Look Like
- Walk vacant units before work starts to scope and document what needs to be done
- Record unit conditions with detailed photos, videos, measurements, and written notes
- Check in on active renovations to catch issues early, not after the fact

- Flag deficiencies clearly and follow them through to resolution
- Keep management informed on project status and outstanding items
- Deal courteously with building staff, trades, and the head office team

- Comfort using a smartphone and basic computer tools
Bonus Points For
- Background in trades, construction, renovations, maintenance, home inspection, or property services
