Role Overview
Are you passionate about digital media and mobile gaming? Are you a product manager recognized for your ability to lead mobile game projects? Do you speak the language of development studios? If so, this opportunity with our Digital Media division is for you!
Reporting to the Director of Digital Products, you will play a key role in defining, strategically aligning and delivering the gaming portfolio for Radio-Canada’s digital destination. You will work closely with external development studios to orchestrate initiatives designed to engage our audience through interactive, gamified experiences.
You will also foster collaboration and alignment across teams, co-ordinating with the project’s digital strategist and affected product owners; your leadership will be key when it comes to prioritizing features, aligning with partners or simply keeping strategic goals top of mind. By leveraging UX research and data-driven insights, you will make informed decisions to deliver a seamless user experience that meets the organization’s business objectives.
As a leader, you excel at inspiring people and rallying partners and peers around a shared vision. You thrive in complex environments and possess strong organizational acumen. You will actively participate in our internal Product Management community of practice and serve as an ambassador, sharing best practices both from within the organization and the broader industry.
Key Responsibilities

Direct the work of external development studios, ensuring execution maps perfectly to the product vision, user needs and business goals.

Clearly identify business challenges and opportunities within the gaming vertical.

Collaborate with the digital strategist to analyze audience needs and extract actionable user insights for games.

Analyze, prioritize and drive the development of value-added features.

Ensure production quality and relevance consistently match agreed-upon business value.

Optimize internal resource allocation (designers, copywriters, etc.).

Track and provide full visibility into project progress, including timelines and budgets.

Maintain brand consistency across all gaming experiences in line with Radio-Canada’s standards.

Contribute to the user experience (UX) design process, including experimentation and target audience validation.

Analyze performance metrics and propose optimizations to drive continuous product evolution.

Foster a team culture rooted in collaboration, continuous learning and creativity.
What You Bring
-
University degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
-
Five years’ experience managing digital product development; mobile game development experience an asset.

Proven track record of leading and managing external partners and vendors.

Deep understanding of mobile game production life cycles (from ideation to launch), game engine constraints/possibilities and engagement mechanics.

Strong command of industry digital practices in mobile gaming (UX/UI, acquisition, engagement, retention and performance).

Solid technical understanding of the mobile ecosystem (SDKs, APIs, app store compliance, etc.).

Proficiency with audience analytics and performance measurement tools.

Quality assurance (QA) expertise tailored specifically to mobile application experiences.
