Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing inquiries related to transportation, shipping, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with logistics management systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient freight handling and supply chain processes while providing exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems and other communication channels.
- Utilize transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400 to process orders, track shipments, and update relevant data accurately.
- Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to facilitate freight movement and resolve issues efficiently.
- Enter data related to shipments, inventory, and customer interactions with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends or discrepancies and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, transactions, and service requests for reporting purposes.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with clients, carriers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as Truckmate, Tailwinds, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, freight management, shipping & receiving procedures, and 3PL operations.
- Proficiency in data entry, typing speed, and analysis skills for handling large volumes of information accurately.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with freight documentation, shipping regulations, and inventory management is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. This role is integral to maintaining smooth logistics operations while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay: $37,668.05-$58,724.43 per year
