Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Competitive Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching competitive gymnastics and a desire to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves coaching gymnasts of various Xcel levels, while fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement provided training programs tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts.
- Conduct competitive practices, focusing on skill development, technique, and safety.
- Educate athletes on proper techniques, and fitness basics.
- Monitor the progress of each gymnast and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe training environment by maintaining equipment and enforcing safety protocols.
- Organize and lead warm-up and cool-down sessions before and after practice.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding performance and development.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a competitive gymnastics coach.
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in planning training sessions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
