Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities, demonstrating excellent guest services skills.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly with professionalism and hospitality.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while demonstrating hospitality excellence.
