Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our team. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring efficient kitchen operations and adhering to food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils using manual or automated methods.
- Sanitization: Ensure that all washed items are properly sanitized to maintain hygiene standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment, including dishwashers, sinks, and drains, to ensure smooth operation.
- Kitchen Support: Assist kitchen staff with various tasks such as cleaning, and organization.
- Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables in designated containers according to regulations.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a clean working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient flow of dishes and utensils during peak hours.
Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
