MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Production support:
-
Respond to requests for assistance from assemblers and production technicians;
-
Investigate problems encountered on production lines;
-
Diagnose problems on raw materials and robotic assemblies to determine root causes of failures;
-
Produce documentation associated with diagnostics and non-conformances;
-
Work in collaboration with other departments as required (e.g. engineering, quality control, quality assurance, purchasing);
-
Identify any process improvements with the aim of optimizing work.
Maintenance and calibration:
-
Plan and follow up on equipment maintenance and calibration activities with the various parties involved (internal and external);
-
Manage and monitor the equipment maintenance and verification program;
-
Ensure complete documentation of maintenance and calibration operations;
-
Register new equipment and changes in the ERP system;
-
Write/participate in the drafting of tooling non-conformities and ensure that repairs have been carried out;
-
Initiate and/or take action on non-conforming equipment;
-
Maintain, calibrate or repair tooling and equipment;
-
Purchase and track spare parts, tools and equipment;
-
Receive, check and procure tools and equipment from users;
-
Identify any process improvements to optimize work.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-
College diploma (DEC) in electronics, electrical engineering or related field;
-
Minimum 3 years' experience as an electronics technician;
-
Manual dexterity, autonomy, attention to detail, observation skills, critical thinking;
-
Ability to plan and organize work;
-
Comfortable with computer tools (Google Suite, ERP Acumatica, Excel);
-
Fluency in spoken and written French and functional English.
ASSETS

Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 9001);

Experience in robotics and/or the medical field.
