Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of linens, towels, and guest clothing, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and previous experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services. Duties
- Operate commercial laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items according to type and cleaning requirements
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned to hotel standards and properly stored or delivered to designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages
- Support other housekeeping staff as needed to ensure overall cleanliness of the facility
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel laundry or general cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry procedures, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens or clothing
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Pay: $18.00-$18.20 per hour
