Reset Electric & Reset Fire Protection LTD. is a licensed ESA/ECRA contractor specializing in existing high-rise maintenance and repairs, plus commercial and light industrial work across the GTA. We are hiring a reliable 3rd to 5th term Construction and Maintenance (309A) apprentice for steady hours, on-the-job mentorship, and a path to C of Q.
THE ROLE
You will work on-site under a licensed electrician, taking on increasing responsibility consistent with your term (typically 60–80% of journeyperson scope). Day-to-day work includes:
- Maintenance and repairs in existing high-rise buildings
- Install conduit, cable, distribution equipment, lighting, controls, and branch wiring systems
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial spaces
- Panel upgrades, service changes, sub-panels, and temporary construction services
- Rough-in and finish wiring, lighting, devices, and EV charger installations
- Read drawings, apply the Ontario Electrical Safety Code / CEC, and prepare work for ESA inspection
- Troubleshoot circuits, test equipment, and document work
- Maintain a safe, organized job site and follow all company and ESA procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered 3rd, 4th, or 5th term apprentice in Electrician — Construction and Maintenance (309A) with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Valid apprenticeship training agreement and logbook in good standing
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code appropriate to your term
- Valid G-class driver’s licence and reliable transportation to job sites across the GTA
- Working at Heights certification (First Aid / WHMIS an asset)
- Ability to work independently when assigned, take direction, and communicate clearly with clients and the crew
- Physical ability to work on construction and occupied sites (lifting, ladders, variable weather)
- Own hand tools required (specialty tools provided by the employer)
ASSETS
- Completed Intermediate or Advanced in-school training
- EV charger, generator, or building automation installation experience
- Fire alarm licence and experience

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
