Job Summary
DCB Electrical Inc. is looking for motivated, professional electricians who take pride in their work. We specialize in commercial, industrial, and service electrical projects throughout Southwestern Ontario, and we're building a team that values quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment in industrial or construction environments.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other control devices to ensure proper operation.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues through testing and troubleshooting techniques; implement effective solutions promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control systems.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment necessary for electrical work.
- Prior handyman or renovation experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in handling various repair tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
