We’re looking for a Preschool Age ECE Teacher (ages 3–4) who is passionate, energetic, and ready to make each day an adventure. If you love singing, storytelling, messy art projects, and seeing children’s eyes light up when they learn something new, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
- Create fun, engaging activities that help children learn through play in all areas of development—social, emotional, cognitive, and physical.
- Lead daily experiences like circle time, music, movement, arts and crafts, dramatic play, and outdoor adventures.
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families, making everyone feel welcome and included.
- Support children as they practice important life skills such as sharing, eating independently, dressing, and potty training.
- Notice children’s strengths and challenges, celebrate their progress, and share updates with families and the team.
- Ensure a safe, caring, and joyful environment where every child can thrive.
Hours: 35-40 per week
Job Types: Full-time and On-call, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Full-time 7 to 8 hours shift, Flexible On-call schedule
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay
Licence/Certification:
- Early Childhood Education Certificate Level 2, or 3 (preferred)
- Police Clearance Check & Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid Certificate for Childcare Setting
