Keyano College’s Academic Success Centre is currently seeking a Student Assistant - Work Integrated Learning. Reporting to the Manager of the Academic Success Centre, the Work Integrated Learning Student Assistant supports the Work Integrated Learning Coordinators as they develop, coordinate, and facilitate preparatory, ongoing, and alumni employment services at Keyano College. The term for this position is August 2026 - December 2026.

- Manage and maintain student records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Monitor departmental email accounts and the Career Services Management System, responding to inquiries and directing requests as appropriate.
- Prepare, review, and oversee routine correspondence, providing timely responses to inquiries that can be resolved through established processes and guidelines.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and other computer-based tools to support program administration, track activities, and facilitate effective program delivery.
- Accurately record and maintain student marks, program eligibility information, and program activity data using Keyano College systems and applications, while documenting and managing a wide range of program-related activities.
- Must be a registered credit student in the Business Administration Coop diploma at Keyano College 2026-2027, having successfully completed all year 1 courses by the end of Winter 2026 with a program GPA of 2.00 or higher.
OR
Must be a registered credit student in their final semester in the Human Resource Management diploma at Keyano College 2026-2027.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Keyanomail, Moodle, Microsoft 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams).
- Able to adapt approach to accommodate individual student needs, learning styles and special educational needs.
- Able to work with students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Skills necessary for effective document design (such as proficient English language, spelling, writing and proof reading skills), and ability to establish audience-appropriate reading and vocabulary levels within a document. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of the campus and campus services.
- Highly dependable and punctual.
Nice to have:
- Previous clerical experience
- Access to Information Act (AITA) and Protection of Privacy Act (POPA).
CUPE Student Rate - $20.43 per hour.
