Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss their goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and health conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
