Smartway Heavy Duty Repairs is a growing heavy-duty repair facility specializing in truck and trailer repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and fleet services. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Red Seal Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Repair brakes, suspension, air systems, electrical systems, and engines
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Complete CVIP inspections (preferred)
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Work independently and with the shop team
Requirements
- Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Truck & Transport Mechanic certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty truck/trailer repair
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, and Paccar engines is an asset
- Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
